Deleted file recovery Windows XP

I have deleted some files from my Seagate hard drive on Windows XP, is it possible to recover them?

You might have just accidentally or intentionally deleted some files from your Seagate hard drive running on a Windows operating system, and now realized that you need them back. Don’t panic, chances are very high that you can easily recover those deleted files.

Sometimes we easily click on delete instead of save, or delete folders holding hidden folders. We realize our blunder after it is too late and or files are fully deleted. This type of file loss is usually attributed to human error.

Irrespective of the Windows operating system you use, intentionally or erroneously files deleted from Windows are recoverable using a powerful program, Remo Undelete to recover deleted files. In spite of the cause for a file deletion, let us first find out what exactly happens when a file is deleted.

When you delete a file, it is not completely wiped-out from the computer. Only the deleted file entry is removed from the directory that Windows keeps for the disk. The sectors of the hard drive where the file resides are marked as available to hold new data. Thus, avoid adding/saving new data file to the hard drive after file deletion. This might actually erase the data by over writing it and further leading to permanent data loss. Until the operating system overwrites the files, they still exist on the hard drive and are recoverable with the help of superior data recovery software called Remo Undelete.

Remo Undelete can recover deleted and lost files from all Windows file systems including the FAT and NTFS file systems. The application easily locates the deleted files and recovers them all unless they have been overwritten by the operating system.

Follow the simple explanation of all you need to do to recover deleted files with help from Remo Undelete.

Step 1: Stop using the computer

Step 2: Do not install any new software or save any new data after file deletion

Step 3: Do not try to run the system utilities such as Defragmenters and volume repair utilities

Step 4: Do not run CHKDSK

Step 5: Do not attempt to format the drive or change the partitions

Step 6: Download and Install Remo Undelete on a healthy machine and connect the hard drive containing deleted files as a secondary drive. Once installed, launch Remo Undelete either from program files or by double clicking on desktop shortcut. Remo Undelete main application is opened as shown in Figure a.

Step 9: As you click Save button, a window to select destination location to restore recovered data is displayed as shown in Figure c.
