Recover formatted partition
Need not panic; your important documents can easily be recovered using data recovery software called REMO Recover (Windows) Pro Edition software.
Formatting a storage media involves erasing all the files and folders so that a new address table can be created, later to be used for locating files. Accidental format is miserable and that too if happened without data backup. But the fact is that, though you have formatted the drive, data still lies there on the drive until and unless it gets overwritten by new data. What actually gets deleted after formatting is the file system table. The software can easily scan the drive and recover the lost data after accidental format.
Since you have formatted the drive to a same file system i.e., NTFS then it is considered as “simple formatting, whereas formatting it from one file system to another file system becomes re-formatting. However, once drive is re-formatted, chances of data being overwritten are higher as compared to simple formatting. So in your case there are good chances of recovering your lost data.
Follow the simple steps explained below to recover data from formatted drives:
Step 1: Launch REMO Recover (Windows) Pro Edition software either from program files or by double clicking the desktop shortcut. The main application window of REMO Recover (Windows) Pro Edition software, is as shown in figure a.

Step 7: Once the tree is formed the final step is to restore data to safe location.
If you do not want to save data now but do it later, then you can save scanned information in a file using ‘Save Scan Information’ option from Tools menu. Whenever required you can open scan info file using ‘Open Scan Information’ option from File menu and recover data to desired destination location.
Note: If you do not find your files and folders in the tree structure formed, then run Turbo scan option from Tools menu. In this operation, the application performs rigorous search to find files and folders and will list all the found files and folders.
