Repairing inbox.dbx and sent.dbx file using Remo Recover Outlook Express (.dbx) is very easy. The new version provides very easy to use interface that helps users with least technical knowledge to repair inbox and sent .dbx file easily.

Please follow the steps below to repair inbox.dbx and sent.dbx files.

Step 1: Run the program either by double clicking application shortcut from desktop or from Programs list in Start menu. The program main Window is displayed as shown in Figure a.

Step 2: Click on, to select a .dbx file that has lost/deleted e-mails. The program scans the drive and lists all the identities present in the drive. Select an identity, the .dbx file of which has to be recovered. The program displays all the .dbx files from the selected identity as shown in Figure b.

Step 3: Select either Inbox/Sent items .dbx file and click on Next. As you click on Next button, the program displays a Window to select destination path to save your recovered e-mails (See Figure c).

Click on Browse button to choose a destination path. Check “Compress recovered data” option if you wish to compress and click OK. As soon as you click on OK button, the program starts repairing selected .dbx file from which e-mails has been deleted and all the found e-mails will be listed in a new folder by name “xxxx recovered” in selected destination location. All the found e-mails will be recovered in .eml format.

You can now import these e-mails (.eml files) into Outlook Express folders in the Outlook Express program, or double-click the .eml files to read them.
