Common scenarios in which iPod recovery software is necessary

How to Recover Music from iPod?

Step 1: Connect the iPod to a computer using USB cable provided with the device

Step 2: Download free demo version of Remo Recover (Windows) and install the program

Step 3: After installing, launch the application by double-clicking the desktop shortcut or by using Start Menu > Programs

Step 4: The main screen gets displayed as shown in Figure 1. Select the "Recover Photos" option from the main screen as shown in Figure 1.

Step 5: To proceed to the next step, select the "Recover Lost Photos" option from the screen as shown in Figure 2

Step 6: The software displays the list of detected logical drives. Select the logical drive from which the media files need to be recovered and click "Next" as shown in Figure 3

Step 7: A list of file types that can be recovered is displayed as shown in Figure 4. Select all the file types or a specific file type based on the media files that you need to recover. Once the file types are selected, click on "Next"

Step 8: On clicking the "Next" button, the software starts scanning the selected partition

Step 9: Once the scanning process is finished, you can preview the recovered photos using the "File Type View" / "Data View" option to as shown in Figure 5

Step 10: You can save the scanned information using the "Save Recovery Session" option, which can be used when you resume the recovery process as shown in Figure 6
