  • Restart your
  • Press F8 button before Windows load
  • Go to Advanced Boot mode
  • Opt Safe Mode with Command Prompt
  • Hit Enter key
  • Type rstrui.exe, press Enter
  • Provide username and password
  • Choose the restore point
  • Click on next button

Method 2: System Restore after Clean Boot


Perform Clean-Boot by following these steps.

  • Hold Windows and R key together
  • Type msconfig and opt OK
  • Choose Selective startup from General tab
  • Uncheck Load startup items option
  • Got to Services and check Hide all Microsoft services box
  • Click on Disable all, then Startup
  • Opt Open Task Manager
  • Go to Startup
  • Disable enabled startup item
  • Click OK, then Restart

Now try to restore your system. Once you are done with that, repeat above procedure till step 3. Check Load startup items option, Clear Hide all Microsoft services box and enable all disabled startup items.
