How to Recover Files from USB Drive?

Step 1: Download and install free demo version of Remo Recover (Windows) to a healthy computer

Step 2: Connect the USB drive from which Office files are deleted to the computer

Step 3: Launch the software either by double clicking on the shortcut icon on the desktop from or program files.  The main window appears as shown in Figure 1

Step 4: Select “Recover Files” option from the main menu as shown in Figure 1

Step 5: Now, click on “Recover Deleted Files” option as shown in Figure 2

Step 6: Select the USB drive (shown as a drive), which has the deleted Office files and click on “Next “as shown in Figure 3

Step 7: The software strats scanningas shown in Figure 4 after finishing the scanning process, you can view the recovered Office files using "File Type View" / "Data View" option as shown in Figure 5

Step 8: “Preview” option facilitates you to evaluate the recovery results as shown in Figure 6

Step 9: “Save Recovery Session” option lets you save the scanned information, so that you need not re-scan your USB drive and resume the recovery process at anytime as shown in Figure 7

Step 10: Once you are satisfied with the recovery results, buy the software. Later, you can activate the software and select “Open Recovery Session” option to load previously saved scanned information and continue with the saving process as shown in Figure 7

Note: In order to increase the chances of recovery of deleted Office files you should avoid saving any new files or installing new applications that result in write operations to your USB drive. As these operations will overwrite the deleted files and makes these overwritten files unrecoverable.
