Recover music from iPod
Yes, the lost/deleted music and photo files, from your iPod are easily recoverable, provided, that you do not save any new data onto your iPod, after the data loss. To recover files from your iPod, it is very important that your iPod is enabled for disk access. You can easily set that up.
To enable disk mode, connect the iPod to your computer. In iTunes, click the iPod’s name under Devices. Click the Summary tab, and then,select the checkbox to Enable disk use and click the Apply button.

Follow this step-by-step guide to recover music and photos from your iPod.
Please note, that we have used REMO Recover (Windows) Media Edition software, in the example below.
Step 1: Launch the application either by double clicking the desktop shortcut, or by selecting the icon from the Programs list in the Start Menu. The Main window pops up, as shown in figure a.Click on the Recover Photo button.

Step 2: As you click the Recover Photo button,a new window displaying the physical drives connected to the PC is displayed, as shown in Figure b.Select the drive from which data needs to be recovered and click on the Next button.
Note: If the drive you are looking for, is not listed in the window, click on the Refresh Drives button. This will display recently connected drives on your PC.

Step 3: As soon as you click the Next button, a new window pops up as shown in Figure c. The window displays the different file types that can be recovered. Select the image and music files you wish to recover, or click on the Select All button, to select all the file types and click on Next button.

Step 4: As you click the Next button, the application starts scanning the selected drive for specified the file types, and lists all the found files and folders in a tree format, grouped according to their file types, as shown in Figure d.

Step 5: You can preview the files before recovery. To preview the file, double click on the file whose preview is to be seen. This will display the preview of the file as shown in figure e.

Step 6: After scanning, the next and final step in the recovery process is to save the found data to a safe location. Select the data you wish to recover, or click on the Root folder to select all the data, and click the Save button. As you click the Save button, a window to select destination drive, for saving the recovered data, is displayed, as shown in Figure f.

Select the destination drive onto which you want to save the data, and click the OK button.If you want save your data in a compressed format, select the Compress Data option, and click on the OK button.
As soon as you click the OK button, the software starts saving the data to the selected destination drive, and will pop up a message once saving is completed, intimating the same. All the data will be saved in a new folder by name “RemoRecoverPhotoxx xx xx* ” in the specified destination drive.
