Common Scenarios in which Data Might get Deleted / Lost from the SD Card

How to Retrieve Deleted Photos from SD Card on Windows?
Step 1: Remove the affected SD card carefully from the device and store it separately. Avoid using the SD card any further as this could lead to permanent loss of pictures
Step 2: Download and install free demo edition of Remo Recover (Windows). Connect the SD card to the computer on which Remo Recover (Windows) software has been installed
Step 3: Launch the program using the desktop shortcut icon or using the Start Menu > Programs
Step 4: The main screen is displayed as shown in Figure 1. From the main screen select the "Recover Photos" option as shown in Figure 1
Step 5: Select "Recover Lost Photos" option from the screen as shown in Figure 2 to proceed to the next step
Step 6: The software displays the list of detected logical drives. Select the logical drive from which the photos need to be recovered and click "Next"
Step 7: The list of supported file types that can be recovered is displayed as shown in Figure 4. You can select a specific file type or select all the file types based on the files you need to recover. Once the file type is selected, click on "Next"
Step 8: On clicking the "Next" button, the software begins scanning the selected partition as shown in Figure 5
Step 9: Once the scanning process is finished, you can use the "Data View" / "File Type View" option to view the recovered photos as shown in Figure 6
Step 10: You can evaluate the recovery results by using "Preview" option to view recovered data as shown in Figure 7
Step 11: You can find the a particular file on the basis of its attributes using the "Find" option, as shown in Figure 8
Step 12: Using the "Save Recovery Session" option you can save the scanned information, which can be used later when you resume the recovery process as shown in Figure 9
