Undelete

File deletion, is something that most computer users perform at regular intervals, just to free up that extra bit of space on their computers. Although this method is good to some extent, frequent and careless deletion of files, may result in accidental deletion of data, from the Recycle Bin, causing some amount of concern for the user.

But, there is nothing to worry, as the data that has been deleted from the Recycle Bin can be recovered, using a good undelete software. The process is simple, provided that the user stops using the drive from which, he wants to recover the deleted data. This is to avoid further damage to the data, which is to be recovered.

We need to avoid using the drive from which, the data is to be recovered for the following reasons. When the user deletes a file, only the pointers to that particular file are deleted, but the data in the file, still exists on the drive. The disk space occupied by the file is now marked as free space by the operating system, and hence, any new data that might be saved onto that drive, might overwrite the disk space occupied by the deleted file.

The user needs to be quick in acting, and make sure, that he recovers the deleted files, before any new data is written onto that disk space. REMO Recover (Windows) Basic Edition software, is best suited for recovery of deleted files. The software lets the user recover all files, deleted due to various reasons like, accidental deletion, deletion due to virus attacks etc.

The undelete software supports recovery of files from fixed hard drives, all types of flash memory cards, and also from removable USB drives. It is compatible with both NTFS and FAT file systems, and supports recovery of deleted files from Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows 2008 and Windows 7 operating systems. Try it Now!

Here you can use,

The Find option by clicking , to locate the file, or types of files you wish to recover, by entering the filename or the file extension. For e.g. filename.* or *.txt .

OR

The Find Next option can be used after the Find option, to locate subsequent files with the same file extension, in the selected folders, that form a part of the tree structure. You can also use the Preview function to preview the file, before it is recovered. This is demonstrated in Figure d and e respectively.
