Most common reasons for data lost from USB drives

How to Recover USB Flash Drive Data?

1. Connect the USB drive to a healthy Windows PC, from which you need to recover lost data
2. Download and install free demo edition of Remo Recover (Windows) on the computer to which the USB drive is connected
3. Run the software by either from the Start Menu > Programs, or by double-clicking the shortcut on the desktop
4. Main windows pops up as shown in figure 1
5. Select "Recover Photos" option from the main screen as shown in figure 1
6. Select "Recover Lost Photos" option to recover photos from corrupted USB drive as shown in figure 2
7. Select the logical drive from which you need to recover photos and then click on "Next" as shown in figure 3
8. IfYou can select media files based on their unique signatures and click "Next" as show in figure 4
9. Once the scanning process is finished, you have the option to view recovered data using "File Type View" / "Data View" option as shown in figure 5
10. You can evaluate the recovery results by using "Preview" option to view recovered data as shown in figure 6
11. Use "Save Recovery Session" option to save the recovered information, that ensues you need not to rescan the drive when you resume saving process as shown in figure 7
12. You can purchase the software, once you are satisfied with the recovery results. Later, you can activate the software and use the option "Open Recovery Session" to load previously saved scanned information and continues with the saving process by clicking on "Next" as shown in figure 8
13. Once you click "Next", you will get an option to save the recovered data on CD / DVD as shown in figure 9

Note: Do not add any new data to the affected USB drive, as it may overwrite the lost data resulting in permanent data loss.
