Remo Drive Wipe software would securely wipe all data from the drive using nine advanced shredding/wiping methods. Once you select a particular drive/partition to wipe, software would start overwriting the drive based on the wiping method (Low, Medium and High) selected. The wiping method level is classified based on number of times it overwrites the drive. The low level method overwrites the drive for a minimum of three times completely. Time consumed to wipe a drive depends on few factors like drive size, wiping method chosen, system performance, bad sectors in drive etc., Hence we could not be able to estimate the time taken by the software to complete wiping process.
