How to empty Trash from Google Drive and One Drive?

Click on the respective Cloud storage to view the steps to Empty trash

Follow the steps below to empty trash on Google Drive:

  • Visit: https://www.google.com/drive/
  • Click on “Go to Google Drive” button
  • Login to Google Drive
  • Login with your Gmail Email Address and Password
  • Enter Gmail Email Address and Password
  • Once you are logged-in you would be viewing the contents of your Google Drive
  • Contents of Google Drive
  • On the left pane of the web-page, you would find “My Drive, Computers, Recent, Starred, Trash and Backups”
  • Left pane of the Webpage
  • Now, click on “Trash” and select “Empty Trash”
  • Empty Trash
  • Google Drive would empty the data on Trash
  • Trash Emptied

Follow the steps below to empty Recycle Bin on OneDrive:

  • Visit: https://onedrive.live.com
  • Click on Sign in
  • Enter your registered Email Address and Password to login to your account
  • Once you are logged-in, you would be viewing the contents of your OneDrive
  • On the left pane of the web-page, you would find “Files, Recent, Photos, Shared, and Recycle Bin”
  • Click on “Recycle Bin” from left pane, click on “Empty Recycle Bin” and click yes to confirm
  • OneDrive would empty the Recycle Bin.
