MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro is an excellent computer introduced by Apple Inc. in January 2006. It is known for its sleek design, sharp display and fast performance.  It Replaced the PowerBook G4 and was the second model, after the iMac, in the Apple–Intel transition. It is now producing the 13-inch and 15-inch screen, the earlier models were with 17-inch.

MacBook Pro Generations:

First generation MacBook Pro: It was externally similar to the PowerBook G4; however was integrated with the Intel Core processors rather than the traditional PowerPC G4 chips. It first came up with the 15-inch model that was released in January 2006 and later in April a 17-inch model was also released. And in later years, it was designed with Core Duo.

Second generation MacBook Pro: this model was also known as the "unibody" model, since; it was made with a single block of aluminum with a more tapered design. It was first released in October 2008 as the 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 13-inch aluminum unibody MacBook. Then, the 17-inch model came along with the built-in batteries. Subsequent updates brought upgraded Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and introduced Intel's Thunderbolt technology.

Third generation MacBook Pro: Apple released the third generation of MacBook Pro in June 2012 as a 15-inch screen size. The most substantial differences in the next-generation MacBook Pro are the introduction of the higher resolution Retina display, replacement of hard disk drives with solid-state drives, and the elimination of the optical drive.
