General Settings:

Under this section you will get two options to link the scanning process with your system startup and the two options are “Run at Windows Startup” and “Minimize to system tray on Windows Startup”. If you select the check box in front of these two options then every time you start your system the scanning progress begins.

  • If you enable the “Check for updates automatically” option, then the software will automatically update you for the required system updates.
  • In this section you will even get the options to erase junk data:
  • Go for Normal File Deletion option if you just want to delete system junk data.
  • Choose Secure File Deletion option to securely delete system junk data beyond recovery. Here you will find 9 different file shredding methods for wiping the data.
  • Select the general setting according to your need and click on "Apply" button


Auto Maintenance:

Under this section you can customize Remo OPTIMIZER scanning settings. Let’s see how you can perform this:

  • Click on Settings
  • Choose Auto-Maintenance tab
  • Enable Auto-Maintenance mode by clicking on it
  • Specify when to perform system scan
  • On Idle(When system is on Idle state)

    On Schedule (Customize the scanning process on daily basis)

  • After this, specify what you want to clean. Use the check box in front issues to select and unselect them.
  • Click on "Apply" button


Notification Settings:

Under this section you can customize Remo OPTIMIZER Notifications

  • Click on Settings
  • Choose Notification Settings tab
  • Enable the required notifications by selecting the check box
  • Click on "Apply" button to save the settings


Manage Registry:

A backup of your old registry is made whenever you fix the Registry Errors. You can restore an older version of your registry, Click on Manage Registry in Settings and then select the backup and click "Restore Backup".

To delete older versions of your registry, select then and click "Delete Backup".
