Know How to Disable Outlook Add-Ins

  1. In Outlook, click on Tools, in the drop-down menu, click on Options.
  2. Another window opens, in that click on, Advanced Settings.
  3. Click on “Add-In Manager” or “COM Add- Ins….” Button depending on which add-ins you want to disable.

Outlook 2007

To disable Outlook add-in, in Outlook 2007 follow these simple steps.

  1. In Outlook 2007, click on Tools, in the drop-down menu, click on Trust Centre.
  2. A new window opens, there click on Manage.

  1. When you click on, Manage- there is a drop-down menu, at the bottom is available an option of ‘Disabled Items’, click on it.

  1. Now, click on “Go….” And make the changes.

Outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016

  1. Click on, File and select ‘Options’.
  2. A new window opens, in that click on Add-Ins.
