Hide the Details

To click a big landscape, sunrise is among the best times to do it. But there are some detailed photographs that may look great and have immense details on cloudy days.

For shooting a landscape on a cloudy day, you have to eliminate some of the details that might not look good for your photos. Exposure Tolerance

In a cloudy day, you do not have an intense light that can give you exposure to all the colors. There are other instances when you do not have enough intensity to shoot a good image with requisite details.

In such situations, using a filter to expose a certain texture is very helpful. This gives you a chance to grab a good amount of light to create a better image.

A long exposure is helpful to gain as much information in your photo as you can. Exposure enhances the colors in your photo. This can be done by setting a long exposure during shooting a cloudy day.

Many times, there are a lot of such images which are taken in cloudy days, late evenings and low light. Such images have a very weak detailing of colors in them. This makes the overall photo look so dull or drab.

In such cases, you can change the image entire color setting and convert it into monochrome. This is the use of only one color to create an image. There is a good chance that the photos that are converted into black and white look great. These photos have a good detailing due to less usage of colors too.

So if there are lousy colors in your photo and the texture is drab, change the photo to black and white and see the change.
