Most users have encountered connection problems related to PSN, so they cannot download games and play online over the PlayStation network.

How to fix PS5 connection problems?

Unplugging the router and turning off your console for some time is recommended. Then plug in the router after a while and turn on your PS5 console. Check whether the PS5 issue has been fixed or not. If not, then it’s best to interact with the technical team of Sony.

2: Transferring data from a PS3 or PS4 to PS5 using a LAN or a USB cable

Are you switching from PS3 or PS4 to PS5? Thinking of transferring data from PS3 or PS4 to PS5? Is your system crashing while doing so?

You might think of transferring data while switching from PS3 or PS4 to PS5. Most users have encountered staggering crashes like complete hardware failure or loss of data while moving from hard drive or delay in transfer time. One might have also experienced errors like restarting your system before use and more significant crashes that might shut down your console.

It is recommended to transfer data over WIFI rather than using a LAN or a USB port to transfer data from PS3 or PS4 to PS5. If you are still facing the issue, check if your PlayStation software is up to date.

  1. Ensure that your PS5 is updated with the latest version of firmware.

  1. Unrecognised game disc on boot up while HDD is connected
Works if system restarted or the disc is ejected and re inserted again

  2. I tried every possible way from rebuilding database to formatting the HDD
    And rebooting the system
To fix the unrecognized supported disc error
It happens when HDD is connected while a disc is inside the system and only happens when you power off the system then turn it on
    It shows up
The only fix was to either eject and reinsert the disc and works normally after that
    Or remove the HDD

So don’t actually know if its a software bug or hardware. My ps Model is CFI-1116A
And few other users encountered such problem a year ago seems like the older model too had the same problem
Hope sony fixes it because i cant even reach them
