As per April 2014 IDC report the amount of data is doubling in size every two years, and by 2020 the data we create or copy will reach 44 zettabytes, or 44 trillion gigabytes. And, if you zoom out of the picture, you`ll find that our digital universe is growing 40% a year into the next decade.
Another report by Cisco reveals that global mobile traffic reached 3.7 exabytes per month by the end of 2015 that is a whopping 74% growth compare to 2.1 exabytes at the end of 2014.
Cellphone and Tablets have also been serving as a primary source of tremendous growth of data big bang. There are already more than 6 billion cellphones in the world, generating more than a billion gigabytes of data every month. And with the latest Buzzword “IoT”, as more devices continue to connect with each other, sensors on everything from home appliances to rockets are only going to increase data output.

Enterprises choose hybrid platform because of its scalability and cost effectiveness along with the option keeping data out of the public cloud.
