Perfect Repair Utility for Outlook Express
" I am a regular user of Microsoft Outlook Express and totally rely on it for managing my e-mails. My system is around a year old and runs on Windows XP Service Pack 2. Everything is fine to this point. Recently installed some important updates from Microsoft and now the small window that comes up when you click on "Send / Receive" option, just flashes on the screen for some time. This Progress Box would open up and display - connecting, sending mail, disconnecting, connecting, checking for mail, receiving mail, disconnecting, and during the process of sending or receiving, the progress meter would display the progress. Now, it is there but it just flashes and it's gone. I remember an update to my virus scanning program also just before this went haywire. Maybe that's another player in the game. Any suggestions? Can anyone recommend an Outlook Express repair/recovery tool, or dbx tool? I have deleted/missing emails to recover, & multiple dbx files that are no longer recognized by Outlook Express (won’t import onto other PC's Outlook Express either). Although I doubt all these dbx mailboxes would be corrupt."
