There are two ways to Restore your Outlook Data from the Source Computer to the Destination Computer. They are:

Restore: This option is used when restoring the backup file on the same or different computer only if the same version of Microsoft Outlook is used (example: Microsoft Outlook 2016 to Microsoft Outlook 2016)

Migrate: This option is used when restoring the backup file to different computers, and it will also help you to migrate from one version of Microsoft Outlook to another (for example, Microsoft Outlook 2016 to Microsoft Outlook 2019).

Using the Migrate option, you could even downgrade from a higher version of Outlook to a lower version.

Yes, Remo Outlook Backup & Migrate software has the feature to migrate Outlook data and its settings to a new version of Outlook. Everything remains the same, and you just need to back it up and migrate.

On the Source computer running the old version of Outlook, please use the Backup option on the Remo Outlook Backup & Migrate software to create a Backup file of your Outlook Data. You can move the Backup file created by our software to the Destination computer by copying the file to a USB drive. Further, perform the Migration using the Migrate option on the Remo Outlook Backup & Migrate software to move your Outlook data to a new version of Outlook.

No, the Remo Outlook Backup & Migrate software would allow you to move your Outlook Data from one computer to another or from a lower Outlook version to a higher Outlook version. It will not allow you to move your emails from one email service provider to another.

You should have a fresh Outlook on your computer so that when you perform the Restore or Migrate, you will only have the Restored or Migrated data and no duplicate data (Profiles or Outlook Data Files) on Outlook.

If you have started to use Outlook on your Destination computer and wish to perform a Restore or Migrate of your Source computer’s Outlook on the Destination computer, please proceed to delete all Outlook Data (if the existing Outlook Data is also available on the Backup File from the Source computer) on the Destination computer. Please ensure that your Outlook Data Files are also removed and then perform the Restore/Migrate using the Backup file generated on the Source computer by our software.

Suppose you are using the demo version of the Remo Outlook Backup and Migrate software. In that case, you will not be able to use the Restore or Migrate options in the software because the Restore and Migrate options are disabled in the demo version.

To use Restore or Migrate, you need to purchase the Basic or Pro version of the software.

Also, the demo version only allows you to create a backup of your Outlook data for three days.
